Here's what you people aren't thinking about when you say you want to overturn Roe vs. Wade. If you make abortions illegal, you are opening a Pandora's box. It will lead to an increase in other kinds of problems such as infant mortality rates, child abuse, babies being abandoned, etc. The truth is, making abortion illegal isn't going to force people to keep unwanted babies, it is just going to subject those unwanted babies to new kinds of hell, and since they will be born before that happens, they will actually suffer for it. Do you honestly think that everyone who would have gotten an abortion will actually run out and give their babies up for adoption. No, sadly, they won't. They will leave them in a dumpster, or abandon them, or abuse them, or leave them with someone abusive or worst of all, just outright kill them. Getting rid of abortion won't get rid of unwanted children, it will simply turn them into abused children. You can disagree if you want, but wait and see if it doesn't. |
