I am a mother of a 23 yr old cutter. 2 weeks ago he called me and told me he felt like cutting himself so we talked till he felt better. I am really glad he can talk to me. Right now he is currently in jail. Life has been pretty tough on him too. I am also a mother of a 15 yr old bipolar son who right now is in treatment. Last month he poured gas on himself and was going to set himself on fire. luckily he didn't. He is getting better. I am also a mother of a daughter who committed suicide in March 2004. She was 23. I don't understand what is going on with my children all I can do is love and learn from people like you. That is what I am doing almost everyday. I am so glad to here people can recover. I wish there weren't people in the world that hurt people like that guy did you. I also was raped at the tender age of 14. We didn't deserve it. I really wish you the best in life. Hang in there and never be ashamed of who you are. To me you are a valued person.
