Friends

The fresh Prince was my all time favorite show. I still watch it. And Martin was my husbands favorite show. It takes a really special show to get my attention, when it does I watch it for life. Like I still watch Fresh Prince and Roseanne yet I have never seen one episode of friends. The first time I heard of BET was when my nephew came over he was 10 and he is like put BET on. I was like what is that. He said Black Entertainment. It must be doing well though, right? I mean its still on the air. God before I did the show I had no idea what blacks are going through, I'm sorry I wish it were different.

I'm an African-American, and I watch Friends.  It is a good show.  I like it.

You know maybe I shouldn't speak on this because I totally don't watch BET. I actualy don't really listen to rap or hiphop at all with the exceptions of Nas, Alicia Keys, Kanye, Leona Lewis and a few others. I was just never into the whole booty-shaking thing ;/ My favorite bands are all indie/alternative rock. I'm a musician, I sing and play piano and have tried my hand at guitar but... yeah it didn't work out. Anyway, I like musician/songwriters. I don't particularly care for music that anyone could make on a mixing board.... especially if it just basically whores out black women.... I never understand how a black female could listen to music that pretty much just calls us hoes... But yeah, I do watch the Parkers and Martin and Def Comey Jam on late night BET and Tavis Smiley's show before it got cancelled. But I would stay say it's nice for the people who do enjoy rap and R&B to be able to find it...

P.S. our wedding song was "The First Day of My Life" by Bright Eyes (My faaaaaaavorite band). Download it oooor go to my MySpace: www.myspace.com/emaculatedeceit to listen to it. Thaaaat's what I like.
