Come on.  God also says that we are all equal and we should all love one another.  Here's another take on this... As much as your society may not understand gays and lesbians, gays and lesbians don't understand people of the Church.  It isn't a choice that you make.  You can't go to a counselor in an attempt to get it fixed  Personally, I am straight and married to a wonderful man who has two daughters.  One of my step-daughters is lesbian and her heart isn't any different than mine.  The only difference that makes her who she is are people like you.
Right on!  I agree with all you said. Some things people just do not understand - cause they do not know God, and the media has brainwashed them into thinking wrong is right and right is wrong. You said it in love and the truth.  The truth is what sets us free, amen.  God's love in us,  draws people to God. God as in YHWH (in Hebrew) and his son Yeshua (Hebrew and Jesus in Greek).  There is only one way to the Father and that is thru his son.  We must be born again (John 3:3)  and not all religions (that claim to be Christian) preach the truth, that sets man and women free.  Like not all bibles are the inspired word of God.  see:  http://www.chick.com

To the person that wrote the quote - lesbians and gays may have good hearts, just like gluttons and drunks may.  For whatever reason your step-daughter became a lesbian - she can deal with the issue and come out of it.  She may very well be a very nice person - homosexuality doesn't make a person an evil person.  The person that commits adultery may hurt more people than a single homosexua would - especially if they have children.  Sin is sin and all sin can be forgiven.
