Thanks.
God's blessing is upon us all. It is up to each one of us to whitness this for ourselves.
My problem is in the deffinition of sin, its self and the multiple interrpetations and reconstructions of the Bible. I truely believe that each one of us will be judged, individually. And I have my own spin on how. But thats not the point.
Judge not, least ye be judged. J.C.
This is to say, that I am accountable for the level at which I judge others.
Love your neighbor as you would love yourself. J.C.
This is to say, have the same level of respect and compassion for my fellow man as I hold for myself and that God has for me.
Those without sin may cast the first stone. J.C.
This is to say, those that have turned completely from sin and are free from sin its self, may stand in God's shoes and begin the judgement.
I pray that I may find the stength and compassion within myself to see the person first, and not their sin.
I do have complete respect for all people, and I do not judge anyone's heart as God does. If someone says they are gay then it is a fact that they are gay, not a judgement. God calls homosexuality a sin in his Word. Therefore as a Christian, I can call homosexuality a sin. That is what God calls it. And you said that you have your "own spin" on how we will be judged, but we will be judged according to God's spin on things. The Bible is our guide to His spin on things. The Bible tells us not to lean on our own understanding. That is where Satan trips us up. God's ways are above our ways. Just because we don't understand God's ways does not make them any less valid. We need to pray for His wisdom, not try to bring Him down to our level of understanding.
