I think that before you criticize us for not being married you should get the complete story, or at least what I feel we should offer you. Due to a severely bad situation Malikhi has never had contact with his biological father and never will. Malikhi is going to be my step son (though I would never refer to him as step), he is not my biological son. I have been his father since he was 2 years old and I love him like crazy. Trust me when I say that I love him as my own and I have since the beginning, he is my son in all sense of the word.
Jylana and I have made a commitment to each other, we are just waiting for some things to fall into place that are beyond our control before we can have a wedding ceremony.
Please understand that people have things that take place in their lives that may not be as they appear or that may be perceived as politically incorrect and it truly is not. Dr. Phil and his staff know the entire situation and the circumstances surrounding us. But thank you for your concern.
