Exactly,

Armed guards beating people up who present no threat hardly constitute "security" or any type of protection against terrorism. It does nothing to make us safer to throw a girl across the room, into a metal chair and into another passenger. It doesn't make us safer if 2 security guards hold her down while one takes a forearm to hear head and gives her a concussion. It is not about taking away shampoo. Take all of the shampoo you want, just don't beat up people. This has nothing to do with airport security. Airport police beating up passengers actually decreases airport security. Officers Michael Urbina, Sharnice Gartrell and Naima Reed beat this woman so bad that she had black and blue marks all over her body. They are worse than the people they are supposed to protect us from. Having contact lens solution is no crime. It is certainly not punishable by beating. I hope the next time a woman is bodyslammed and beaten in her head at Reagan National Airport, it is not your mother, daughter or little old grandmother. If you want the whole story it's on video. Net result of watching the video: If we once were nervous to fly due to fear of hijacking, now we can be nervous due to fear of "security." Since that is the price we pay for "protection," I truly dread the day I have to fly out of Reagan National Airport again.
Personally, I find security in the United States very bizzare.  We spend billions on everything hyped up in the news, because some rare incident occurred.  We ignore the every day dangers and just allow them to continue.  If the government really wanted to save lives they would ban SUVs (especially the giant ones), cigarettes, and would institute a medical system where preventative health care is free and the right of every citizen.
