You have got to be kidding

Quote From: firstltsha

I think everyone should stop paying all of their debt that is with banks, credit cards and loans. This would be a better result than the stupid bail out plan the government just passed. In a few months the financial industry is going to be at the end of their rope again. Consumers should withhold their money and make the banks learn to cut back, re-organize their debt and stick to a budget. After all that is what the credit counselors tout to all of the hardship consumers.
If you sign on that dotted line that you will pay back the money then it's your responsibility to pay it back.  There are some reason not to pay on time like, loss of job or medical reasons but what are you proving by not paying. Yes the mortgage companies that did not verify employments or lent money on houses that they shouldn't have should not be bailed out.  But if you got a car loan and the bank gave you the money when you needed it, I don't understand what withholding your money will bring.

Are you serious?  If you borrowed the money then you owe the money. Where do you get the idea that anyone should get something for nothing?  This is the same thionkinfg as that dumb couple on the show who spend and spend and think that if they whine enough the debts will be forgiven.  If you borrow the money you should pay it back, period!!!!
