Well, when I said the people who say they are going to do it, they are looking for attention, I meant that there is a majority who are like that, but of course what I say does not apply to ALL people. That would be a blanket statement.
The girl on my forum that has been telling us that she is going to kill herself for a year and a half, and keeps soming back every day to tell us over and over again, IS looking for attention. Since she has been doing this for so long, I believe that if she really, really, truely wanted to kill herself, she would have done it a year and a half ago when she first said it. But she didn't, and she is still here to continue to tell us every day.
Your brother was different, so of course he is one of the people of which my statement does not apply.
Thank you for the offer of support. :) I appreciate that. But fortunately, I've been able to get through my depression and no longer want to kill myself.
