Tim and Melissa are doing the right things for HER.  They are allowing her to develop in an environment of love and compassion.  For the record, SHE is NOT confused.  The show was mistitled as far as I am concerned.  You have my support Tim and Melissa, and I hope with all my heart your daughter grows up healthy and happy!

I truly believe that anyone who is not personally watching their child suffer through this need not speak of it.  I am the mom of a 13 year old MTF noone could ever imagine the hurt, pain, loss and confussion a parent goes through tring to prevent their child from taking their own life.  This also includes Dr Phil I  feel he takes a very bias approach to this subject.  I am very sure that if it was one of his boys he may feel ALOT differently and would present it as such. I haqve watched all 3 of his transgender shows and each one was a dissapointment.  He should educate himself before he does another show.  And certainly make sure that his speakers are educated so they don't  embarrass themselves again on national t.v.!

I see I'm explaning myself again.  These are physical problems.  And it definitely makes a lot of sense to stay the way God made you.  Like I told, (tina socal and jewelsf),  God didn't make a man so that he change into a woman or vice versa.  God does not make mistakes.  To change yourself means that he made a mistake.  And if you think an 8 yr. old can make a decision about hormone therapy, there is something wrong with you, Melissa, and Tim.  You are acting like the child is the parent.
