Watching the show tonight was like reverting back to the ex-policeman I was married to for 4 agonizing years, who wore a gun everywhere he went and delighted in the fear when people noticed.  Sociopath, I have learned everything about it since I left him in 1991.  I was so terrified to try to get away from him, as was my family for me.  He was only a policeman for about a year, fired for stealing a gun from a defendant, which he delighted in telling me.  Only a stupid woman like me could have married this man after he stalked me for a year, nurtured me, sang in church, volunteered in our local State Attorney's Office, a true persona of Jekyll and Hyde.  I was wife number  4.  I still  have visions that he will ambush me some day, as his hatred for me is intense, because I adopted his grandson after one year of marriage with him, a child I adored so much.  That child is now 22, and finally has gotten away from this controlling, woman-hating man, so insecure, so determined to dominate everyone, who believed FORTY YEARS after he was a policeman that he was still LAW ENFORCEMENT, chasing people down the highway, scaring me and the children to death, using a blue light in his car when he was not law enforcement to chase people down the highway.  This is nothing compared to the years of terror of his instability, yet he never hit me but once, but the terror was there for I knew the capacity he had for violence, and the daily screaming, threats, cursing, do not even come close to what I knew he would do every time I defied him.  Drew Peterson sat there so smug tonight, just brought back the same answers I could have predicted, he is smarter than everyone in the world, it is his "training in law enforcement" that keeps him calm, etc.  Bull>>>>   IT IS HIS MISOGYNISTIC PERSONALITY THAT HAS MADE HIM BELIEVE HE CAN OUTWIT, OUTLAST, AND GET AWAY WITH MURDER.
