Bring a friend with you for support, and as a witness, so you'll feel more confident. I know that there's always a percentage of bad in any group. Mine is that I'm very uncomfortable around men, but due to my bad experiences with cops, it makes it that much worse. I have PTSD, and so it doesn't just happen with cops. I'm working on my issues. And, I have asked to bring a friend with me before, but I was refused and had to go alone.
