Replies to '06/06 "I'm Gay, OK?"'

I thought we covered that all human beings deserve equal rights when we went through the suffrage movement with women (the bible was used to say women belong in the home with no power), and with abolition movements (the bible was used to say slavery was just) but now we need to prove to you people again why homosexuals are no less of a human being than you are? Why would they choose this life when there are people like you in the world hating them and making them think they're wrong? I know a gay muslim and he is so upset because he thinks he is going to hell. What kind of a God do you peopel worship? A life of self loathing because they are not like you is what needs to happen?  

My God loves everyone. If two men live together happily in a monogamous relationship, work full time, do volunteer work, treat people they encounter with dignity and respect, are loved by so many people are the ones going to hell? MY God loves them and sees no error in their ways. 

Do the heterosexuals that engage in anal sex doomed for hell too? 

If I wrote a book now to guide my people and compiled stories and scriptures of what I see and tell the future generationst his is how to be a good ___(insert family name here) and put my current views in there. Okay, today Cyanide acid is lethal. So I would put a story in my book about how horrible cyanide acid is, and to stay away from it or you're going to hell. I would think in 3 thousand years my people would be intelligent enough to use reason (reason is what seperates us from the rest of the animal kingdon) to apply my book to current day issues. What if cyanide was a cure for cancer in 2 thousand years, and my people were too stupid to think for themselves and let their children die of cancer because I said cyanide was bad?
