Say what?

Quote From: rave0820

Dear Dr. Phil,

Where does it all end? If you allow marriage between the same sexes, why not between 2 men and 1 woman or 2 women and a man. How about a man and his dog? I'm serious! If someone wants to live with their partner(s), "all power to them". But please don't call it marriage.

PS People don't understand what the state being forbidden to establish a religion mean? Thomas   Jefferson wrote about the separation of Church and State in a letter to a friend, but it is found nowhere in the U.S. Constitution.

Don't you dare compare LGBT marriage to such a sick and ridiculous idea.  I never think of such sick things! Dave says,"How about a man and his dog?"  Obviously Dave has a fantasy about loving his dog in a very sick way!  I never here any LGBT people say such things. Only people like 'DAVE'! Who use hate with the human rights and Gods word!  There is no parallel to such a sick suggestion and I am very hurt that people like you Dave compare LGBT marriage to that!

That felt great I've wanted to say that to sickos' like Dave for a long time!

Oh yes it is in the constitution!  To be specific in the Bill of Rights.

Article the third [Amendment I]
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment 1, U.S Constitution:  "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

Does that not state that our country's government cannot chose one religion(and therefore, it's beliefs and practices)over another, for example, calling us a Christian nation would be wrong on any governmental level? We cannot have one state religion, as they do in other countries, thus all faiths are on an equal level. While the words "separation of church and state" are not spelled out, surely that is what was intended. That law is law, and faith is faith.

Or are you saying the amendment only means that no government entity can declare or establish us as a Christian country, or a Jewish country, or a Muslim country or etc?
