Quote From: orsibeth Read 1 Cor Ch 5. You'll see it says that it is ok for believers, (members of the body of Christ, the Church) to judge other members of the Church body. But 1cor5:12 says, What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you.
If you want to teach your children biblical examples, join a non-denominational Bible Based church.
In Ezekiel chapter 16 God declares that His judgement will be far more severe on the house of Israel (read SPIRITUAL Israel here sisters and brothers...) than on Sodom (and the sin of Sodom was NOT homosexuality as Ezekiel points out later in chapter 16!). Why? Because she "despised her husband and her children" (Ezek 16:45).
Who are the children of God? These same gay people, GAY CHRISTIANS(!) that you are attacking!
Who is your husband and my husband? None other than Christ Himself. How are you attacking Him?
Matt 25:40
40 And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'

Read on with what Jesus had to say about the Pharisees ... He called them "white washed tombs" (Matt 23:27-28) and “hypocrites” (Matt 23:13) who had “neglect(ed) justice” and love (Luke 11:42).
Why did he say these things? Because they (the church) showed no mercy towards widows and strangers and cast out those they deemed ‘unfit’ from the house of Israel. The same Pharisaical spirit gave approval to Saul’s persecution of the Christians and tried to ban the Gentiles from Jesus’ forgiving grace. The same Pharisaical spirit is still at work today, causing us to draw lines between 'us' versus 'them' and attempting to define who is righteous and who is not. Such a spirit causes harm to the Body of Christ and limits (in it's own mind) who can and cannot be part of the kingdom of God. God makes no such divisions or limitations concerning Jesus Christ's saving grace. All are welcome, all are His. But by your own words -- yes -- you are judged.
