Replies to '06/06 "I'm Gay, OK?"'

 I don't know if that has been replied to or not, but it upset me (this whole thread is starting to get really upsetting) so I just wanted to jump in. saying that AIDS is spread through multiple sex partners is simple ignorance. the fastest growing population of AIDS victims is heterosexual women, firstly, and a good percentage are married. then there's the babies who are born HIV positive. and those who are raped. and those who have done nothing at all except need a blood transfusion. oh, and better not forget the babies (and I mean infant babies) who are raped throut countries all over africa in particular, because of the myth that you can cure AIDS by having sex with a virgin child. maybe with a little education and birth control, babies wouldn't be raped and infected and killed. except that would be unchristian, so we're just gonna go on letting it happen. 

and while all upset, I might as well point out the obvious fact that the planet is so overpopulated that it can't sustain us. that we are physically running out of resources on earth. and you say you're pretty sure god would just want us to have more sex for reproduction, and not bother with useless stuff like birth control?  

good. you guys can run the planet, and we'll have no water, no fuel and a whole lot of dead babies. are you serious??! 

I find it confusing that you replyed to my message that way.  How do people get AIDS?  Three ways, unsafe sex, drug use and mother to child.  Look at Africa where rape happens every three minutes (just for one example).  You seem to be condoning the fact that sex has no purpose in this world except to reproduce, when in the Bible itself, prostitution is evident and written about.  How is that right then.  If people were having pre-marital sex when Jesus was still walking the earth don't you think perhaps something could have been done then about it?  Mary and Joseph were not even married, yet they had a child...granted it is "recorded" that it was due to emaculate conception - but what if it wasn't?  Do you know for sure? 

Also, one clean partner eh?  Interesting.  I pose a question to you then.  You meet the love of your life in Church one day and you find out years later about a life not previously disclosed/or a forgotten one night stand in college.  You are now dying of Hep B or HIV...or have become unfertile due to clamydia or another STI.  Where is your faith to protect you now? 

I would also invite you to answer my other question on the message board regarding where in the Bible it says that being a homosexual is wrong...specifically.  I think God made each of us to be special - and if you disagree, I guess you are questioning God's plan...and specifically the decisions he made when he gave every person on this world life.  Being gay is who some individuals are - why can't you show the same respect to them as they do to you?
