I think that there is such a need for homes for children that are in the foster care system that I would not think that it would be in the children's best interest to deny them that right to have a family and a really good life whether it is with a straight or the same sex couple. I am so conflicted because I don't believe in that life style but not to say that it is wrong and I think that anyone that has the desire to parent should have that chance. It seems to me that if you are a same sex couple you have a better and faster time at getting to finalize an adoption. I could be wrong but it does seem that way to me in the times that we are living in now that no one wants to be told that they are discriminating against someone because of their sexual orientation. I think that ultimately if it benefits the child than that is what is best.
