That poor man
Quote From: mimi11102My husband has been in treatment for a very rare form of blood cancer not once, but twice. NEVER have I even thought of the money and expense of his treatment. Sure, we have insurance, but insurance will not pay the rent, buy groceries, make the car payment, or any of the other household bills. He has, thank God, been in remission for 7 years now, and it has taken us seven years to try to overcome the financial problems his being off work brought about. I think this woman is just a selfish woman who needs to re-think the vows she took when she married him. I am glad to hear your husband is doing well. This year my husband and I got divorced after 34 years...he has Hepatitis C, and may someday require a liver transplant. I can tell you right now that even though we are not married any more, I still would probably be more sympathetic and supportive of him than the wife on the show today. I would help him in any way I could, including financial. So their bills are $14,000...big deal. Do you know how many women would wish their husband was still living, fragile health or no? The bottom line is, nobody wants to lose their house, or be under financial pressure...no one would choose that, and through no fault of the husband, they have landed in that situation. However...having a husband who loves you, and has put up with this kind of garbage for a year????....Priceless. She should wake up and realize that her pettiness is a reflection of her own smallness of spirit, and ought to thank goodness for what she has, not complain about what she might lose. Life is short, and precious...don't waste it complaining.
