Its hard to tell your child what to wear and what not to wear. You cant be a parent dressing your 15 year old daughter or even son for that fact! However most of these kids do not buy there own clothes. I think the parents need to take some responsibility and not buy clothing they dont approve of.
I do not think it is hard at all. When my son was that age baggy pants with the crotch hanging down around the knees were popular. I made it very clear before we went shopping he was not going to get pants that made him look like his diaper should have been changed four days ago. It was not open for discussion. He was free to choose his clothes within the guidelines I set.
