More than she can take

What I hear her saying is that this is more than she can take. The camel back is already broken. Have none of you been in a position that you don't know where to turn or what to do? At this point she can't even ask the questions she needs to get answers to. I don't think she is saying she does not WANT to do anything, she wishes she could. This is her second marriage. Should she mortgage her children's future for her second husband. Luckily I will never be faced with this decision in that I do not know what the best answer is. I do see that it seems now she is not even trying. However this can be just the symptom of her desperation. Giving up. There are degrees of love and I don't think she has the love of her husband that says "I give all". Without this type of trial, their marriage may have been just fine. But this type of trial can rock even the most solid of marriages. Thrown her a rope to keep her from drowning, rather than your animosity.
