Seperation of Church and State

I know this is going to be VERY contraversial issue because homosexuals believe they are "legally" entitled to the same rights as us. The Bill of Rights does state that they are entitled to live whatever life they desire, as are we. However, when considering it from a religious point of view or God's point of view, it is absolutely, positively unacceptable and blatantly sinful. Unfortunately, the United States feels a need to acommidate "everyone's" prefrances even though it is plain to see opposing sides will be offended. That is the day and age we live in now. Excuse me? Have you heard of spearation of Church and State? What makes your beliefs more important than mine. The United States was founded on seperation of church and State. I know you says, what about the saying...one nation under God, that was a new addition to please...you the Christian Majority. Luckily for myself, Christians are quickly losing their strangle hold on this Nation. I assume that you then think Christians should have superiority over all other faiths as well. Then even your own religion is split. More and more of your own Christian brother and Sisters are seeing the truth behind equality. What do you say about them?
