GOOD EVENING KATHY/"MIKE'S MUM...

Quote From: red_white

I have been staying away from posting on this board in hopes that there would be some kind of movement from within, but I guess Im wrong in thinking that I can start something and just let it grow all by itself. I am disappointed in the lack of interest here and am determined that I will do my best to get some good information posted here to help service families and to help this board draw members and support for our men and women who serve and protect.

Please excuse my absence.

Mikes Mom

Sorry that I haven't been here much lately myself, I guess I have been waiting for you to come back here so that I could say hi and to see how things are going for you, your family and of course Mike!!

We are doing fine here of course. The weather is really starting to warm up here and it's not even summer yet. Today it's in the low 30's C that is, in F it's about 85-86.

Yes, it would be a good idea to put some information on here about what service families go through when their loved one's are oversea's or even if they are off somewhere within the country for a long period of time. I know that my hubby hasn't been overseas yet, but there have been many times that he has been away for long periods of time. The longest being 10 months, although he did get to come home for a week every few months or so. It was still very hard to for me to get through that time and that was well before we had our little girl.

Well Kathy you, your family and Mike all TAKE CARE and hope to hear from you soon, LOVE KELLY.
