I agree- besides, the retailers who sold her the stuff don't deserve to have to try to get rid of products that have been sitting in her closet for weeks and  are out of season. Plus, they may only give her store credit- adn they would be perfectly within their rights to do so-

I don't think they have the ability to be charitable.  If I understood correctly, they are teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.  The funds from returns would pay down debt. 

  

I didn't see anything that she bought that I would even allow in my house.  Why would a Katrina survivor need a doggie dress or a diamond bracelet?
