Thank you for reinforcing the thoughts of what a 9 year old child in that situation would feel. It's just been too long for me to know how it must feel , yet as a mother of 2 grown sons, I wouldn't dare treat my children that way or my pets. Glad to hear how you also agree - it is not a positive approach to yield happy results!
AND Yes, at 14, the pressures are very extreme - that I do know. Trust me, your comments are greatly appreciated!!
