In Reguards

Although prostitution happens in the US, it is NOT legal in quite a few states, like you falsely stated.  It's only legal in Nevada, outside of city limits.  And they are not stating that she was sold into slavery in Aruba, they are saying she was sold to Venezuela or Columbia.  Blonde Americans are probably a hot commodity down there.

Dear author

I take it you are from Aurba... I also realize that you are trying to keep the small island from looking bad.  It is way to late for that.  Natilie went missing in your country.  All we want is answers.  And if you believe that the sex trade industry is not also underground.  Well you need to wake up and smell the coffee beans.  I am sorry if you get offended by us Americans trying to find the answers.  But as you also saw today on the Dr Phil show that Amy may have been sold to the industry.  There are to many things that do not make sense.  I am sorry your little island has been turned up side down, but all we want is Natile and the rest of the them freed.

Touching more on the subject of legalized prostitution in Nevada.

Under Nevada law, any county with a population of less than 400,000 is allowed to license brothels if it so chooses (NRS 244.345).

Clark County is the only county in Nevada (Las Vegas in in Clark County) that has a population over 400,000.  As of July 2004, brothels are illegal in Carson City, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Douglas County, Lincoln County, and  Washoe County.  Eureka County neither permits nor prohibits brothels and does not have any. The other 11 counties permit licensed brothels in certain specified areas or cities.  State law requires that brothel prostitutes are checked and tested weekly for  several STDs, and monthly for HIV. Condoms have to be used for all oral sex and and intercourse. If a patron contracts HIV after a prostitute has tested positive, the brothel owner is held liable.

Illegal prostitution takes place everywhere!  And to suggest that there are no sex slaves is ludicris. Any illegal body that can make money will go through any avenues to get more money.  "Where there is money, there's the Mob", and any other illegal organization.  If you (natia77) honestly think  that Aruba is immune to such depraving acts, I believe you are sadly mistaken.  It's time to wake up and realize that we don't live in a safe and pristine world anymore!
