How bad are you going to make her feel before you "support her decision"? It's a hobby, you're making it a career. Let her be nine, just have fun with it for now.

She’s not doing all that right because she needs to see that there is more to life than just soccer. If she says no to practice or a game than no it is. If she’s unprepared and she gets benched then it was her choice. If it’s their true calling you don’t have to push because it’s not like brushing your teeth."
