11/17 The Search for Natalee and Amy

Quote From: tyrantkay

Its so amazing that America always expects every other country in the world to bow down to their officials and their rules.  If you were the Cheif of police in Aruba, would you honestly like some big shot "American" comming into your country all guns drawn bossing you and your staff around?  Be honest!!  Could he do the same if the situation was reversed?

Its sad that things had to happen the way they did but do you really think that boycotting a whole nation is going to solve anything?

More then boycotting a nation, I feel we are boycotting a government who was completely incapable of handling such a case and was too proud to accept the assistance of the United States/FBI.  When assistance was accepted, information was with held, and it was too little too late!  Had this crime happened on American soil to an Aruban, I believe the Aruban officials would have been allowed to assist with the case or at least been privy to information regarding the case.  They would never have been left in the dark as were our officials and the Holloway-Twitty family . The Aruban officials made numerous errors throughout this investigation and they should be held accountable for their indiscretions.  I am sorry that the people of Aruba will suffer from such a boycott, and pray they will understand why this MUST happen.  I applaud Governor Bob Riley as he is the one who has called for this boycott.  Out of respect for the Holloway-Twitty family, I feel this is the very least we can do.  My family will continue to pray for Natalee, and God willing that she may some day return to those who love her.
