Quote From: blue_whiteThanks for telling us about your son-in-law. Yes, I agree, the soldiers are truly courageous and they are heroes!
How are things going with the young couple? Hope things turn out for the est for them. Separation is not easy even it the best of circumstances. We are anxious to hear how they are doing.
Let us know how you are doing also. All these changes in your family are stressful and you need to take care of yourself too. I hope we can be of support to you now and in the future.
Thanks again for writing!

Blue,
Thank you and things are better, at least emotionally for the
kids. They understand things better. It is so hard when you
get married, without having to be gone for 18 months, give
or take a month or two.
You are right, we need to take care of ourselves, or we can
become empty. His first couple of days here were really
bad and hard to deal with. But we made it through them.
My second grader wrote a letter to him and called him her
HERO and thanked him for what he was doing (*sweet*).
I am sorry that you are or had a rough time recently. Sometimes
as mothers we just run around trying to make everyone
happy and forget about us, you are right, we need to take time
for us.
The boards can be great, and sometimes add stress too. Hard
to say sometimes if it is best to be here all the time or not :).
Please take care of you!! Great Board!!
