My Dad was told early on this year that he had MND or Lou Gehrig's Disease or ALS and even thought he is doing quite well right now I know that one day things will be very different for him and for my family, so if there is anyone here that can give me some information on what life could end up being like for my dear Dad then I would be more than thankful.
Please TAKE CARE, LOVE KELLY. You didn't say whether it was familial or not. This can make a difference in the treatment. If it is familial the enzyme superoxide dismutase plays an important part. When this enzyme is healthy, it deactivates free-radicals, biproducts of metabolism which can destroy cells. Believe it or not there is a resolution near to use whether familial or not. Keep looking.
