Pooping everywhere

Give her the wash rag and show her how to clean it. Then warn her that if she does this again, she will lose a toy. She can earn it back if she doesn't do it for a day or two. It is not ok to do this at all and consequence would be appropriate here. IMO I have recently had the same problem. I'm a single mom of a 3 and a 2 year old. My kids were doing really well going potty in the toilet up until about a month ago. A month ago my daughter started taking off her pull ups and pooping on the floor. Now my son started doing it. Last night they were caught red handed smearing it on the wall. YUCK!!!! I'm hoping this is a phase but, like you I have tried everything. I'm pulling my hair out. I thought about taking a toy away before I read the message board. I think that's the one thing I haven't done yet. Anyone else have some words of wisdom? Thanks!!! I'm glad I'm not alone. Ha. ha. Not that I would wish that on anyone.
