I'm not certain that anyone that has posted graphics have posted them here to advertise. What gain would be receiving. I am one of the people who has posted home-made graphics and I have posted for the board to enjoy. In hopes some may find some comfort in them. We all have are different ways of expressing ourselves and lending our support to others. Graphics have been used on this since ever since I started posting 2 years ago.
Art therapy is a well used tool used to help a person express themselves whom may not other wise know how. To limit the way one communicates doesn't seem fair to me. People seem to communicate in many different ways on this board. Including but not limited to, quotes from other people, qoutes of their own, poetry, help lines etc. etc. all of which are fine.
As for sifting through the posts to get past them it doesn't seem much different then having to sift through the same poem or post being posted over and over again. ( I don't mean in qoutes) To me that is more like taking up space and keeping everyone from having a chance to speak or be heard.
I am not trying to be difficult or argue but that is just my opinion. My graphics were resized to the size thhis message board would allow when they were uploaded and I posted them in an attempt to express myself. I did not have a mother and my artwork is the only way I can express what I think it might have felt to have had one.
