You are so right about having "down time", it rejuvenates me. I am 53, on my birth certificate, but in my heart and my head I am much younger. Eating right and joining the gym has been so good for me. Sometimes I don't feel like going to do another workout, but once I get to the gym, I feel so much better about myself. I wish all of us a good year of health and fitness. Happy New Year!

Hi debbgirl and Happy New Year to you too!  I know the feeling about how hard it is sometimes to get up and get exercising.  I love to swim during the warm months and there is no problem getting going then.  And I always feel great during those months! I have yet to find a cold weather exercise that I love as much, so it is a little harder in the winter to get moving. If there was an indoor pool close by I would do that, but there isn't. Maybe walking on those not so cold days would be the best thing.

Yes, down time is very important, even just reading a couple of magazine articles, a couple of chapters of a good book, playing with the dog, or listening to music can be invigorating. It also helps to treat yourself to something every once in a while. I love the feeling of wearing a new sweater or slathering on some lovely scented body lotion.

Keep up the good work Deb!!!
