So if a person is speaking and there is a person with the gift of interpretation around, that person may understand what is being said even if the tongue is unknown or even if the person doesn’t know the language (tongue). I speak very fluidly in all tongues and I was able to understand all tongues before I was able to speak in them. There is much more to this and other gifts. And yes, evil people/spirits can speak in tongues also. I am the prophet of Jesus! The Lord be with you!
I understand what your saying as a fellow prophetess of the Lord. But you said your "the prophet of Jesus", there are many, being one of the callings in the five-fold ministry. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. I understand the gifts and how they operate, but to say low level is confusing and prideful to those who lack Spirtiual maturity. Keep it simple or you'll loose them. Also I have been used by God to see people set free and also be baptised in the Holy Spirit and some flow instantly in tongues, get interpretation of tongues. I have even seen instant transformations, where one minute they are angry, and the next at peace and prophesying! I've prayed for one who said one word only over and over, but began to know things with incredible accuracy, names, dates, details, etc. And mind you, this happend right away! So in summation, there are no hard and fast rules, it all individual, but one thing remains the same in all, there is always positive evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the evidence of tongues. Always!!!
