I have looked on the internet for this sign and can't find one. The closest one was an anchor with a snake. Ours loos lik it has a heart in the middle. Does it.? It's hard to see it up close enough. It is not a button. I doubt it. I will look further to see what I can find.
To me, it looks like the fish........ I think it is a good thing. I don't think you've been cursed......

If anything, this looks like a CROSS. Maybe an equal-pointed one. Don't jump to any conclusions. LOL.
