I wish that someone would tell me why he or she thinks that he or she is the right way. Did it ever occur to any of you that the reason we need other people is to complete our lives. The human is a social animal and needs others for the basic necessities of life: food, clothing and shelter.
Did Jesus Christ not say to Simon Peter, "Thou are Peter and upon this rock I shall build my church?" My question is that since Christ chose Peter to head his Church, are not all of these other so-called religions cults?
It also seems to me that anyone can interpret a passage in the scripture to justify any odd behavior, such as speaking in jibberish (sorry, it is not a language unless as on an episode of Frasier, you are speaking in Klingon).
Pentecostals speak jibberish and witches talk backwards--sounds the same doesn't it?
Psychics have a gift from God, if he or she uses that gift, he or she can help you. Sure, some abuse that gift. But, if he or she is honest, he or she can help. We are not talking about the dabbling in the occult or Morgana from King Arthur's legend. Accept that some people have the gift of seeing just as some have the gift of playing the piano, or doing a portrait and solving the equation of energy. If you think you have a problem, see a psychic. Silvia Browne seems honest to me. Expensive, probably, but there are others, use the yellow pages.
When you pray to God, you get an answer, if the answer is to see a psychic, do it. The lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client.
