I think you didnt listen to the show, he was so not trying to bring her down, what he was trying to do was get her to see that unless she has some serious conversations with her 28 year old boyfriend, he could break her heart, she ofcourse said to this, "he has trying but I wont listen". So Dr. Phil just wanted her to see the reality of the situation. It is fine to feel young & to act young, BUT the reality is when her boyfriend has to help bathe her & dress her, is he honestly going to be there. She doesnt know this answer cause she wont talk about it. This ofcourse is a conversation that all couples need to have but when you are getting up there in age & are dating someone so much younger... it is even more valid.
Dr. Phil helps people he never hurts people. Trust me I know.
