I totally believe that we can contact others while sleeping. I know what you mean by going back to a childhood place, seeing the same sites, smells, the surroundings. It's called something, but I forgot what the proper name of that type of dream was. That guy who was on the show could have had a past life of being chased by someone, like he stole something and people were chasing him down in the 1800's or something like that (just an example), that's why he could feel like someone is chasing him. He brought over his past life cell memories into this life perhaps. You could get the book Past Lives, Future Healing by Sylvia Browne, and "Book of Dreams" by Sylvia Browne. They have excellent tools to help you relieve your nightmares/terrors and it'll help you analyze your dreams. I highly recommend those books. It's cheaper than going to therapy or something. :)
