I have to disagree with Dr. Phil on this one. To put that dog in isolation in the kennel isn't the correct way to socialize the dog. Plus, sooner or later the paths of the dog and child will cross. The little girl must be terrified.
The dog needs to go to a  childless home that understands the breed and the disability. Or, he should be put down. He won't be trustworthy again.
Thank you, I am in agreement with you. As an owner of two dalamtians I can say with certainty that  the dog will olny get more agressive if it is isolated from the family. He will turn into a completely nuerotic mess.  If they send the dog to a dalmatian rescue program then he may end up biting another child, so it needs to be a  rescue program that would be honest and responsible about the dog's history. There are people without children that are willing to deal with these special dogs and their special needs.  I love my dogs but I would NEVER have adopted them if my children were still toddlers.
