She's 22 for crying out loud.  She's an adult.  Most girls that live with their boyfriends do share a bed.  I wouldn't consider it trashy, she wasn't in bed with 3 guys!  Also, it was her boyfriend, not some guy off the street.  Maybe they don't want to get married, many people don't and who are you to judge.  If it makes them happy then let them be.

I agree with you but this is the way the world is now, Just take a look at TV in general and the sitcoms and movies. He looked more of a kid than she did. BTW,, they have money for a cruise but Dr. Phil is going to pay for therapy! I loved your question and it may not be normal to you or me but I guess it is normal to the rest of the world.

Are you that closed minded? She is 22 years old and is engaged to him. They are probably in the process of planning the wedding. It is easier to buy a house before you get married so everything is settled before the wedding and honeymoon. It is not trashy at all.

No wounder the divorce rate is so high, people like you!  People have no right to push anyone into marriage, if you are not ready you just aren't ready!! 

I am a soon to be 21 year old women and I live with my b/f and we both want to make sure before we say I do! We have been together for 6 years and sleep together is that trashy to you?

Seriously.... are you living in this generation?! Alot of couples these days live together before they considered marriage. There are some that live together for 18 -20 years and never got married and is that wrong? I would rather see them live together first while they are engaged then to rush into marriage and get a divorce a year or two later. Get real! If you don't like it TOUGH! It's just how this generation lives.

It reminds me of when I worked in the lingerie department of a higher end store and we would have prudish grandma's come in a few times a month looking for a "bed shall"....I was BAFFLED at first at what this item was...

Then one of these little old ladies explained it to me...here is what she said, paraphrased:

"Young brides often don't want to show too much skin on thier wedding nights, they don't want to walk around like prostitutes in front of thier husbands."

I just smiled at her and told her we sold no such item....LOL
