The difference with people like you and me (and the moochers) is that WE respect and love our parents enough to want what's best for them....and us mooching off them is unfair. We wouldn't think of it!
Sadly, many parents raise spoiled brats (or just plain spoiled angels:) who don't respect their parents and weren't made to partake of their work ethic. The young adults didn't wake up one day with a mooching attitude; this attitude was created over the YEARS and it's the parents who allowed that creation.
You get what you ask for and you teach people how to treat you (Dr. Phil). None of the guests should be surprised at how their family members turned out...they helped create them!
Time to stop the enabling and send them out on their own. People have the will to survive...to fight. They'll make it; starving isn't usually an option for most.
