Cathy and Mar (Yoo Hoo Mar where are you?)
Here's a poem I wrote for Mar in Spring I think. Do you have a garden Cathy?
MAR'S CANADIAN FLOWER BOX GARDEN
As she leaves Church on Sunday
Through its doors to God's Cathedral
Fresh air greets and soothes her
Dancing through trees large and small
She walks in prayer up to her home
To her planted geraniums of fuschia and red
Where whites and purples climb with ivy
From each beautiful boxed flower bed
Picking up the pieces to the puzzle
Of a life she's piecing together anew
Taking pause to take care of herself
Walking by tulips under skies so blue
Deep within thoughts of spiritual poetry
Flowering warm wishes to nurture fellow souls
I smile reading about what she finds uplifting
Like her garden that welcomes her home from her strolls
