For someone who hasn't even seen the show, you sure are opinionated!!

If you haven't seen the show, how can you sit and make the judgement that Jon is a complete coward?  April is a manipulative person who likes to play little power games and then hide behind her disease when the heat gets too hot for her.  Dr Phil played into her little power game and let his show become the latest arena for April to abuse Jon.

I think Jon is just unhappy. He didn't understand the disease when he married her. I understand his position and agree that he should do whatever he has to do to be happy in life, it's too short. He does need to grow up before he steps into another relationship though. Anorexia is not a cancer, it is brought on by low self esteem and a need to be perfect. It is a self afflicted disease. I do worry about April and the future with her disease though, she isn't very far into recovery and needs to be in a hospital for awhile for monitoring. The way April carried on about Jon having an affair, even though they were separated, just shows she isn't strong enough to be on her own just yet. She is a very self absorbed lady and needs professional help.
