Defining Your Authentic Self

Hi everyone,

I am new to this message board. I have come to the realization that I need to find my true authentic self and am not really sure where to start? I would love to hear some of your stories! Any advice would be appreciated!

I think you can start by asking yourself "what am i not satisfied with in my life?"

Like Dr. Phil says: "You can't change what you don't acknowlegde".

Regards,

Jo

I have been on this journey all my life I think thats why we r here to find our authentic self. Its the journey that makes us grow in spirit and mind. And we help others along the way,as we do we move up to another level of learning just like in school. Our lifes r a constant state of learning. When we learn all we need to learn here, we move onto death which is just the beginning. And a higher level. So good luck on ur journey as well.

Hi everyone,

I am new to this message board.  I have come to the realization that I need to find my true authentic self and am not really sure where to start?  I would love to hear some of your stories!  Any advice would be appreciated!

These are the experiences that I feel people want to know.  An authentic self doesn't have to do anything but be what ever is most natural and feels the best, but many of us do not know what this is because we don't always know how, like sharing, for example.  Why I think I wrote about my sister, at one stage, on-line.

What relationships do we learn this and what ones are steering us off course and into the swamp;  whose mental messages are too stagment, too confusing, too rigid..
