During the show when you where talking about the boy in paegents you mentioned something to the effect that the mother was asking for her son to get beat up. Your comment really surprised me in light of the bullying problem in society today. I was watching the show and my 12 year old came home from school and caught that part of it. I always talk to my boys about not making fun of anyone who does anything that is different  from the norm. I know you didn't mean to say it is all right to beat up kids who are different but my son laughed as if he knew you were right. In light of the other shows you have done on bullying I know you do not think it is okay to be a bully but you made light of a very serious situation in our schools today.  A lot of children see your show and listen to your advise so if they didn't see anything wrong with these activities (ie dance, figure skating, paegents etc)  they may think there is now because you put a label on it as being not normal. It would be a shame if a young boy who likes dance stays away from it because he feels he may get beat up or feel he is abnormal if he wants to do it.  Or just as bad, if a young child  has a friend who participates in these activities they may look at them differently because they think they will be labeled too if they hang around with the "wierd" kid 

How horrible to think it is okay for a child or an adult to be bullied, BEATEN UP or ostricised because they enjoy doing something outside a little pink or blue box Bigoted iggnorant people want to put activities, jobs, toys, and so many other things.  If there had not been a WW would secritaries still be only a male dominated job?  Today you may think being a secritary is a pink box job but oh that started off as the moderized version of the MAN servant that affuent male leaders as far back as Roman times.   

If we stayed or allowed people with a narrow vision of the world to say oh you are diffrent I don't like you would Stephan Hawkins have been allowed to grow in to the man he is today an incomprensibly brilliant mind trapped in a body that some would shun and feel pity for. 

No Hunter is not doing pageants anymore and yes the majority of that decision is that there are too many small minded people to allow it.  If you look at it it was about TALENT when he did do the 15 he did he didn't wear make-up or even get the fake tans his clothing is more historical/old movie musical based because that is something we like to watch togeather just as much as we like to watch Independance Day and age appropriate action and adventure movies. 

MY 6 year old reads at a 2nd grade level in english and at kindergarten level in German.  His friends like knowing about the stuff he does because our friends are not bigots and do not raise their sons and daughters to judge a person on how they look, the color of thier skin or WHO THEY LOVE. 

I am proud of my son asking to do things he enjoys without fear of it not fitting a girl box or a boy box.  The funny thing is he has learned some of that this is for girls and that is for boys at school but funny as much as he thinks something with a picture of a girl on the package means it is for girls he has never thought that dance is something he shouldn't do because he is a boy and I am sure his future wife will appreciate that when he grows up. 

You saw less than 5 mins of an interview that actually was mostly about my son's achievments guess what it was between him and Semus for the part of Damien in the Omen 666 would playing the antichrist might make you think he was more "manly"? Silly me I was releaved he did not get the booking. 

I'm sorry for being so snippy but you and Jewleryboy's responses are what can hold a society back from making advances and it saddenes and angers me.
