Perfect Sense

Quote From: fredastare

I'm so happy that I located this thread, thanks TL for aiming me in the right direction.  Your poem TL is rather profound.  The beauty of it is that it can be applied to various circumstances although it's intent is clearly a spiritual one.......... to me that in itself is Art.

I've recently rediscovered God and Goodness and what I refer to as Universiality...........I do not know if there is indeed such a word?   But the concept for me is that all things and all events in all times are One.  I believe in Jesus Christ as my saviour, and I for some reason believe that He is actually very pleased when one allows for an open heart in Loving all things.  Whether they be non-conforming beliefs, just so long as they are in keeping with Love and Understanding.  Does this make any sense to you all?

thanks, Peace

Dear Fred,

For the record, I was raised Christian like most people in this country.  Even "went forward" on my own when I was just turning seven years young.

However, life circumstances forced me to reconsider everything I had learned growing up, and I do mean EVERYTHING and for very good reason.

As it stands now, I can honestly say, I still Love Jesus. I still Love God.  It's just my beliefs about both have changed, I dare say "radically", from what I started out believing.

Although I could get more "dogmatic" about my current way of "being religious", I agree with you; the Love and Understanding part is really key.  As Avatar Adi Da says the "Law of Man(kind)" is: Tolerance + Cooperation = Peace.

I think if we all gave more attention to that "formula", the World would be a much, much better place for every person to discover the Truth that is Always Already the Case in their own hearts.

Peace and Love All-Ways,

Turtle Love
