I think if you are partying together -- then it DOESN'T have to be OVER!! Saying its over - out of your life completely - sounds like you have been put on 'death row' once you say 'I DO' -- Thats just crazy!! If you both enjoy going out - and are OKAY with your spouse going out separate with friends - than what is the big deal? We both like to go out and have a good time - away from kids - didn't think it was so wrong....
I agree with the laudering of clothes.. but maybe he is just more ANAL about it than she is!! I'm sure she does help.. but in her own due time!!
I live at home with one still stuck in the old gender roles -- but I am slowly getting him to see it more my way!! We BOTH work outside of the home - so we both have to help out - it has taken many arguments to get him to where we are now -- basically if he complains about it.. I don't touch it...if he wants it done badly enough.. he will do it himself!! He thinks that if he does OUTSIDE work - thats enough.. I say BULLCRAP!!!!
