Look at it a different way.

I do wonder if it's worth it. I'm a sad person. Food is the most exciting part of my day. I wonder if being thin is worth it...people who've lost a lot of weight, would they say it's worth the effort and sacrifice?
Perhaps your size is a symptom of your sadness? You may have better luck tackling your sadness first. See, our problems don't go away when we lose weight, and if you think that everything in your life will be better by being slimmer, you could be setting yourself up for failure. It's a common pitfall for many of us to discover that just because we look and feel better, the world around us hasn't changed much. Our husbands and families are still the people they were before, although they react differently to us now.
It IS worth the effort, but don't put too many expectations on others.

It is so worth it!!!  You move more easily, you feel better, and what sacrifice?  It's freedom from the body that's unhealthy and, the emotional bind that it (food) has on you.

I just had my second child on Valentine's Day.  And I do not fit into my old clothes yet, and, I'm the opposite, it is driving me nuts!!!

I mean, it is worth it if you never want to truly examine yourself and die young living in a lie.  There is life out there, may I suggest figuring out why you are sad?  Maybe once you figure that out, you can be happy, then no longer need to eat to feel good.

I love the feeling of not worrying about what I look like, having confidence, and getting the occasional cat call is kinda funny too.  No matter what people say, it does make you laugh.

Good luck.

P.S, if you need something to do in the day time, e-mail me, I may be able to help you.
