Years ago I dated a creep that also passed nasty comments to me-"too skinny" "I could do better". Best thing I did was to get him out of my life. I married a wonderful guy several years later and we are still enjoying life with eachother to this day. Best of luck!!!

Absolutely. Guys who insist that their non-trophy wives be trophy wives generally are wanna be alpha males who know deep down they will never be alpha males. They feel humilated by their less than alpha male status & think they can fool others into thinking they're alpha males if only their wives are beautiful enough. Their wives internalize this as their own failings, when it's really the guy who is insecure.
