Gosh, I never really thought about who puts the bar down, but where I live ...one is lucky IF they can find a bar, let alone have long enough arms to reach around a order and get it! . Does any one else have a bar shortage? I have a problem with those who pull there basket up to close to mine,.making it hard to unload. Ah life at the supermarket.

You've got to be kidding!  Where did you ever get such an idea?  You are frustrating yourself over  an incorrect conception.  Come over to the other side( the majority I might add). where YOU put the divider down for YOUR order and free yourself of this unnecessary frustration

Ok, we are at the super market, I'm in line, waiting for my groceries to be checked, you come into the line I am in, do you really think its my place to place the divider on the belt for you? Come on, maybe I would pass it down to you if you couldn't reach it, and then again, maybe I wouldn't pay any attention to you what so ever. Perhaps you would actually have to open your mouth and say "Excuse me, could you hand me that divider please." Which then I would reply, "No problem." You would say, "Thank you." and I would say, "Your welcome." Conversation over, No problem and life goes on.

You must be the woman on the show.  I think it is hilarious you have nothing better to do but complain about someone not putting the divider down.  And how terrible that you (or her on the show) put things in the persons groceries.  IT'S THE SECOND PERSONS RESPONSIBILITY TO PUT THE DIVIDER DOWN.  Why would I put a divider down when you walk up behind me. You walk up behind me, you put the divider down.  Life is too short to complain about something sooooo ridiculous!!!
