Quote From: purplepain I also want to be done having kids by the time I'm 30.
I planned my life in a way so that I wouldn't have to ship my kids off to daycare and so later in life I can get a job and have a career.
Those were my priorities.
I too didn't want to be an "old mom"...that's ok, don't worry about offending people hon. Having a baby after 35 isn't for every woman. I certainly didn't want to do it and there are tons of legit reasons for that.
about the only thing i haven't heard here is that your spouse AGREED with YOUR PRIORITIES and PLANS...........
I ( for example) DIDN'T PLAN for another child and at age 29 delivered #3
Now i am 43 divorced ( two years after 20 years ) back in the workforce just to
make it and have 3 beautiful kids and 4 adoreable grandkids .
I believe if it were me I would have to say that yes you can have your point of view
however if someone doesn't share that you will have to rethink your position
( and there are so many wee ones out there that need a HOME as well.
Good luck with your life "LADYBUG"
